CloudSmiths, a Dynamic Technologies group company, recently teamed up with Asana to host an AI Studio breakfast at the CloudSmiths Rooftop Bar in Melrose Estate, Johannesburg, for their customers as well as any person in a workflow-related position. The event showcased the many benefits of the CloudSmiths-Asana partnership through a hands-on session that highlighted flexible solutions to everyday workflow and operations problems.
The event unpacked Asana AI Studio and what it offers, particularly within the CloudSmiths and Asana partnership, which ensures that customers’ Asana setups are optimised for data-driven success.
Attendees had been invited to bring their biggest workflow headache, and these were addressed as the Asana and CloudSmiths teams built a custom AI solution in under three hours. Throughout the clear demonstration, attendees witnessed live builds, collected plug-and-play templates and saw results coming in on-screen in real time.
Phil Malcolm, CloudSmiths’ Executive Head of Customer Acquisition Europe and Africa, says, “A key highlight of our conversations was the transformative potential of Asana’s AI Studio and intelligent automation. The ability to move beyond simple task tracking to actively optimising workflows resonated deeply, showing how teams can reclaim valuable time for strategic, high-impact work.”
Experts discussed the rise of Agentic AI, unpacked AI agents and gave a live console tour of Asana AI Studio. The breakfast was also an excellent networking and knowledge-sharing opportunity as guests engaged with operations, marketing and PMO leaders who deal with AI agents every day.
The event was attended by over 100 people from a wide range of industry sectors and the feedback at the event and after it was extremely positive. Malcolm notes, “Given the incredible energy and valuable dialogue from these sessions, we look forward to helping more organisations navigate their journey toward greater clarity and efficiency in the ever-changing and fast-paced world of AI.”
