When Dynamic Technologies began sponsoring Luke Moir in January 2023, they knew that the ultimate goal was to get Luke onto an international team as an Elite Men’s cyclist. With the unexpected dissolution of his signed team at the start of 2025, Luke took the hard decision to race as a privateer, relying on an array of dedicated sponsors to keep him chasing his dream. In July, that dedication paid off.
With two top 20 finishes at Nové Město na Moravě in the Czech Republic and Leogang in Austria, Luke was making his mark and teams were taking note. Despite a crash at Italy’s Val di Sole course, in July he was invited to race in Pal Arinsal, Andorra as a guest of the Mondraker Factory Racing team. It was a rough weekend for him and didn’t go the way he had planned, but with his characteristic determination, he vowed to return stronger than ever.
On 22 July, Mondraker officially announced that Luke had joined their team.
Dynamic Technologies is extremely proud of the level of commitment Luke has given to his sport, his inspiring resilience and his achievements, often in the toughest conditions. We are delighted to have played a part in supporting his dream and helping him make that a reality. The company wishes him well and we will continue to cheer him on, whether he’s taking on the UCI Mountain Bike World Championship courses, competing for South Africa at the World Championships or racing in his home country.
