Cycling is as much mental as it is physical. After disappointment in the USA World Cup, Luke pulled himself together and faced the last World Cup event of the season with grim determination. For the short track on Thursday 03 October, he went in with a new mindset and rode with a lot more confidence. It was do or die for his last XCC as an u23 and his experience over the past year served him well. Renowned for its challenging courses, Mont-Sainte-Anne has been the battleground for the world’s top UCI contenders since 1998. It’s only fitting that this was where Luke took his first podium finish with a stunning P3 after an exhilarating race. The XCO on Sunday 06 October was highly technical, fiercely contended, and a decisive end to the season. Luke took a superb P5, placing him 8th overall after a gruelling yet successful season. Luke’s first season in the Elite Men’s group in 2025 is sure to be one to watch!
